About Expo
IIT Bombay’s Institute Technical Council (ITC) brings to you the “Tech & RnD Expo”, a 2-day event where all notable technical projects done by students in the institute are displayed to alumni, professors, and fellow students. The technical activities are also diversified, be it Institute Technical Summer Projects (ITSP), or Technical Teams, or self-projects by individuals or a group of tech enthusiasts. Tech & RnD Expo is not just limited to the project's display and also hosts some interesting talks from Industry Experts, or professors, panel discussions, hands-on workshops and competitions.

Projects
The Insitute Technical Council collaborates with companies for the Industry×Tech Challenge where IIT Bombay Students work on industry projects to offer innovative solutions and research. Research
At the expo, you will get to witness the cuing-edge research that is currently going on in the institue by both professors and the students. Institute Technical Summer Projects is a 3-month long program of the ITC in which the students work on their dream ideas, bringing them to life.
Tech Teams
We at IIT Bombay run various tech teams to represent India in several international competions. We have won several of these events. At the expo, you will get to witness the breathtaking prototypes built by the students

The IIT Bombay Research Park Foundation, also called ASPIRE is a non-profit entity set up to create a platform for research and innovation between IIT Bombay and the industry. The Park brings together IIT Bombay's intellectual capital, state-of-the-art R&D infrastructure, and the vibrant technology industry to accelerate the co-creation of global solutions to real-world questions. ideaForge is a product focused UAV systems organisation, developing drones for a variety of mapping and security applications. ideaForge believes in being unrivalled at pushing the limits of what's possible with UAVs and to drive the adoption of this technology for enhanching productivity and security. TEAM RAKSHAK
Rakshak is the official team of IIT Bombay consisting of 40+ students from various disciplines who work collaboratively to develop a fleet of robust Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) to support Search and Rescue Operations (SRO) in the event of a disaster. The team was formed
TEAM VELOCE HYPERLOOP
Hyperloop IITB is a student organization incubated in IIT Bombay with the goal of reinventing and revolutionizing terrestrial transport. We are a team of 60 highly enthusiastic technocrats working towards designing and engineering our own independent Hyperloop prototype.
SPART
We are Solar Powered Airship Racing Team, a student-run technical team of IIT Bombay. Our aim is to build highly efficient airships with a vision to promote sustainable air transport.
TEAM MARS ROVER
The team consists of budding engineers, ranging from various departments and study programmes offered at IIT-B, working to gain hand on knowledge about development of all terrain rovers and space biosciences, which combinedly, help us towards our deployment of the rover.

IIT Bombay Tech & RnD Exposition, an annual gathering of all students in IITB involved in Technical and Research activities, to present their work. The Tech & RnD Exposition envisions bridging the gap between the student community, professional research and industries and providing an informal environment for the free flow of ideas and dialogue. Also, the exposition, without doubt, will prove to be a fertile ground for collaborations and the exchange of ideas It has an exhibition of more than 30 student projects completed the last summer, a Research Symposium on the works of students in research groups at IITB and other well-known universities, Display by Technical teams in the institute which have won competitions of international repute as well as various workshops and events for students that include fun activities such as VR gaming and drone flying.
